Jay Kim

Jay Kim is Vice President of Business Development and Education at TruAbutment, the Irvine, California company known for CAD/CAM custom abutments and a growing digital full-arch implant ecosystem. With more than 16 years in dental technology, he entered the field when TruAbutment's CEO recruited him and went on to help launch an early 3D-printed denture venture before rejoining the company's leadership. On Vegas Voices, he sat down with Frankie Acosta at DS World 2024 to introduce ioConnect, TruAbutment's scan-body system that lets any intraoral scanner capture full-arch implant positions with less stitching error. He remains a fixture on the education circuit, presenting TruAbutment's T-Marker iPad-based photogrammetry at LMT Lab Day Chicago and West in 2026.
