Love what you do and it will never feel like work are words that perfectly describe Dr. Amira Ogunleye (“Dr. A”). As co-owner of a high-end dental practice in Miami with several professional athletes among its clientele, Dr. A admits that no one can find success on their own. Rather, success is achieved through unwavering commitment, a unified team working toward a singular goal, lifting others up, as well as trust and loyalty earned from patients.

Today, Dr. A has created a dental home built upon a foundation of rock-solid relationships. Such rapport with both office staff and patients has allowed her practice to flourish. “Success in this profession is not measured by money,” she shares. “It’s about showing people you care. Don’t chase money. Chase relationships. If you do that, success will follow.”  

Mentoring young women in dentistry is Dr. A’s other love. Knowing that the road to realizing one’s dreams can be long and daunting, she believes in “Pulling Others As You Climb.” This mentality enables future leaders to gain valuable insight into the interworking of a successful dental practice, with the promise to do the same for others one day.
